SIMONA® PE 1000
In mechanical engineering high demands are made of the chemical resistance, processing capability or even the abrasion properties of a material. SIMONA® PE 1000 is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene that is used to address friction, wear and material flow issues.
The material has excellent slip properties, extreme wear resistance, high impact strength and very good resistance to chemicals and has become established in engineering applications. For mechanical engineering we have a large portfolio of pressed and extruded semi-finished products.
