Specialist training – Processing fundamentals for lining and composite construction
Composite constructions offer specific advantages over solid thermoplastics at high pressures and temperatures. Compared to metal-based materials, thermoplastic composites provide the basis for high-performance, cost- effective solutions. Large components, such as storage tanks, are often manufactured from GFRP/thermoplastics, a particularly efficient option.
In all cases, the linings provide the necessary chemical resistance. Installation is possible for both steel and GFRP components. In this case, different processing methods are applied.
Target group
The training session is primarily aimed at fabricators, tank builders and planners who are keen to work in these areas or would like to gain an overview of the possibilities in this field of application.
